We ask that all offer-holders read this page by 11 February 2022 to ensure that you know what to do if you have a disability, Specific Learning Difficulty or long-term illness (including mental health conditions), OR if you experience illness or other circumstances that may affect your studies after receiving your offer.

Information for students with a disability, Specific Learning Difficulty or long-term illness

If you are holding an offer to study at Christ's and have a disability, Specific Learning Difficulty or long-term illness (including mental health conditions) then please read the information for offer-holders provided by the University Disability Resource Centre:

Additional notes:

  • You will see on the dates and deadline page that in August we send information about accommodation and a form to complete to offer holders for 2022 entry. There will be an opportunity on that form to let us know if you have particular needs to be borne in mind when allocating rooms e.g. an en-suite bathroom.
  • Given notice, the Catering Manager can often provide for those with particular dietary requirements for medical reasons. Please get in touch as soon as possible once you have your offer if this is relevant (please email us ).

See also the further information, if applicable, and please don't hesitate to get in touch with us at Christ's Admissions Office if there's anything we can help with.

Information for students with a short-term illness or other circumstances that may affect your studies

If, as an offer-holder, your studies are affected by short-term illness (of any kind) lasting more than a week, or other non-Covid extenuating circumstances that we don't already know about, particularly around the exam period, please ask a teacher to email us to keep us updated at the time it happens. We need to know if you've got a challenging home environment, if there are unexpected problems with the teaching provision at your school, and any other circumstances that affect you. Many thanks.

The information will be placed in your file and taken into account when we receive your exam results.

If you had an Extenuating Circumstances form included in your original application, we still have this information in your file, though feel free to ask a teacher / GP / social worker to write in to update us if there is further, new information that we should be aware of at this stage.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch with us at Christ's Admissions Office if there's anything we can help with.
