First Court, Christ's College, CambridgeWelcome! Thank you for submitting a UCAS form and applying for 2022 or deferred 2023 entry. We are the Christ's Admissions Team, and our names are Kristy, Jan, Hayley and Ellie. We're here to administer (but not to assess!) your application and answer your questions, and we'll support you through this section of the Christ's website from now until decisions-time in January 2022. The Cambridge process assesses you carefully, and there are quite a few forms and 'bits' to do after your UCAS form, but if you follow the information in this section and work with us stage by stage (we've put the dates next to each stage), we will be able to guide you through the process smoothly.

Current points

Monday 24 January

Good luck for tomorrow everyone. For details of how you'll hear from us, see Stage 6.

Contacting Christ's: We need your help to work efficiently! We request that you start all emails to Christ's Admissions Team with:

  • Your name (as you wrote it on your UCAS form, but with your family name IN CAPITALS),
  • The course you have applied for (including 'Biological or Physical' if Natural Sciences),
  • Your UCAS number (10 digits, please write it as one number without dashes),
  • Your requested remote interview team if not Cambridge, UK (e.g. GMT+7, China, USA).

NB We're on Twitter too if useful.

Stage 1: Make sure you've met all the 15 Oct deadlines and read through the application process

The application process is set out on the how to apply page. Please also read about receiving emails  and the Applicant Webinar Series (free support sessions from Cambridge Admissions Office)

Stages 2 to 5

These stages are now finished. Well done everyone!

Stage 6: Information for January
(the outcome of your application)

25 Jan updates
10:40am Thank you all so much for your patience on such a tricky day! We're making good progress but don't worry if you've not heard yet - not everyone has. Hang in there and we'll be in touch as soon as we can manage it.

Receiving our decision

We will email applicants selected for interview (whether in Cambridge UK or overseas) with the outcome of their application on Tuesday 25 January 2022. Please bear with us as this careful process does take time.

  • On Tuesday 25 January, we will not start sending decision emails until 9am UK time, and we warn you that this process will take time - some students will not receive their email until the afternoon. Thank you for your patience.

  • Please do not telephone the College. We will not give any decisions over the telephone (and we need to put our full focus into sending decisions by email).

  • We will email applicants who have been unsuccessful and applicants who are receiving an offer from Christ's. If you have been selected for an offer at another College via the Winter Pool, Christ's will not email you, but you will instead receive an email from your new College directly (on 25 January).

  • Your UCAS Hub will not update on 25 January. The first Hub updates normally come through a day or two later and if you are made an offer, most UCAS Hub updates for offer holders will be right at the end of the month.
