New Court is an example of Brutalist architecture designed by Sir Denys Lasdun. It contains undergraduate accommodation together with the Yusuf Hamied Centre (where common rooms, theatre, TV room, gym, function room, one of the music rooms, and the squash court are). In front of the buildlings there's the small Darwin Garden, including a bronze sculpture of the young Darwin.
