The Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Law Library is situated off First Court (ground floor, on the right hand side of K stairs) and is usually only accessible to law students. It provides 12 reading spaces and houses a reference collection of law reports, journals, and statutes. The library subscribes to the Public General Acts, Law Quarterly Review, Modern Law Review, and Lloyd's Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterly. Like the Working Library, the Law Library is open 24-hours.
Law textbooks for borrowing are located on Floor 2 of the Working Library. As part of the Law Book Loan Scheme, key textbooks for each Law student are purchased and distributed at the beginning of Michaelmas Term. For the year 2020/21, these books are:

A large number of core text books are also available through Law Trove, a database subscribed to by the University. Select textbooks that have been purchased for students as part of the Law Book Loan Scheme have been left in the Law Library by graduates for the use of their successors.
While some official publications are only available physically in a library, many resources are available to access online, and are available via the LibGuide. Various datasets, statistics information, legislation and judgments are still open to you. For law reports and case law, please check Westlaw and LexisNexis or contact the Squire Law Library for more assistance with law resources.
